Dermatology is a wide-ranging area of veterinary medicine, given that in addition to specific problems, it can also reflect pathologies in other areas. A hormonal, infectious, parasitic, neoplastic or even nutritional problem can manifest itself through skin changes.
Secondary lesions are also very frequent, whether they are self-inflicted (common in the case of pruritus), caused by the presence of opportunistic agents or even sequelae of previous injuries.
For a correct diagnosis in veterinary dermatology, a thorough clinical examination is essential, together with complementary means of diagnosis supported by a clinical history as complete as possible.
We count on the collaboration of Vets with specific training in dermatology who can provide specialized treatment in the face of dermatological problems.
