Echocardiography

Echocardiography

An echocardiography is an ultrasound of the heart, which allows you to obtain a dynamic, in motion, image.
For an echocardiography to have a correct diagnostic value, it must be evaluated in conjunction with the animal’s clinical history, physical examination, auscultation and other tests (ECG, chest radiography, blood pressure measurement, etc.), and therefore it should not be replaced by other diagnostic tests.

It is a very useful exam in the study of the heart, giving important information not only about the cardiac structure, namely with regard to the heart valves, but also about the function of this organ.
